My daughter will be 9 in November. She has walked on her tippy toes since she started walking at 1. What can I do to remedy this. I have tried telling her Everytime I see it but it has become so "normal" we don't notice. We went to see a doctor and he wants to put casts on both legs for a month and 5 shots of Botox in each leg while under anesthesia.

There are multiple options for toe walking - ranging from physical therapy and home exercises to bracing or casting to Botox. Surgery is occasionally needed as well. I usually try to start with the least invasive treatment options (like therapy) and "escalate" from there. A great resource is
