State Laws Help Reduce Concussions in Youth Sports

An article in HealthDay News shows that youth traumatic brain injury (TBI) laws put in place aimed to slow the rise of concucssions in student athletes seems to be working. Since 2014 TBI laws have been passed in all states and most require athletes with concussion symptoms to stop play until being cleared by a doctor to return to the game and also require coaches, players and parents to receive education about concussions annually. Read the entire HealthDay article here
